The inaugural Grand Rapids Asian Festival will be held in downtown Grand Rapids at Rosa Parks Circle. The event will be from 11:00am to 9:00pm June 10th, 2017.

Travel by Foot

Live close to downtown? Save money and avoid the traffic by taking a stroll to the festival. See walking directions and type in the starting point address.​

Travel by Bicycle

Burn off some calories before you hit the food vendors! Ride down to the Festival and park your bicycle for free. Find bicycle parking at the Ottawa-Fulton ramp (by the north and south stairwells off Ottawa), Monroe Center ramp (entrance off Louis), and Government Center ramp (northern Monroe entrance).

Travel by Bus

Have someone else take the wheel and catch The Rapid to the Festival. Visit for the system map and specific route schedules to plan your trip, google maps also offers a real-time directions for The Rapid. Round-trip fare is only $3.50 plus the Silver Line is free throughout downtown up to the Wealthy Street stops.

Travel by Car

Parking Meters

  • Most parking meters in Grand Rapids are not enforced on Saturdays, although meters along Monroe Center are enforced on Saturday (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM).
